Healthcare claims data is complex, fragmented, and difficult to interpret in a sequential patient-centric way. Raw claim events such as diagnoses, procedures, and medications are often spread across time, encoded in different vocabularies, and lack an intuitive narrative for clinical or operational review. This creates a need for a system that can both reconstruct patient pathways from structured data and make those pathways easier to understand and assess. The proposed solution, patient_path_IQ_mini, addresses this by combining conversational interaction with pathway risk classification in a lightweight sequential workflow. A user can chat with a base Qwen3 model to explore and summarize a patient pathway, while a separate fine-tuned classification endpoint assigns a risk label such as low, moderate, or high risk. Conversation memory stores chat history and classification outcomes per session, enabling continuity across interactions.
